Open-source garbage collection day app; launched in Kanazawa, expanded to 100+ cities
Developed by Code for Kanazawa in September 2013. When users select their residential area, upcoming garbage collection days are displayed in chronological order with color coding. The source code is released under the MIT License, and the service can be deployed by municipality through the provision of subdomains.
