Donate to politicians who vote for the issues you care about—and the opponents of the ones who don’t.
Jonathan Zucker and I shut down if.then.fund last year, and the two answers here —that we didn't do much marketing and that the site's purpose was confusing —are two of the main reasons why I think we weren't able to accomplish more with the site.
A third reason is that business-to-business services are an important component of most consumer-facing online products (think Facebook Pages or Twitter Ads), and we weren't able to get engagement from political organizations despite having some good contacts.
