Japan's first municipal Decidim deployment; Kakogawa's online participatory consensus platform
Kakogawa City launched the service in October 2020 in collaboration with Code for Japan. It allows anyone to post opinions and ideas on topics such as the city’s smart city initiative. Decidim is used by more than 30 municipalities worldwide, and Kakogawa was the first municipality in Japan to introduce it.
