The Lead Service Line Replacement Cost Calculator (LSLRCC) is a publicly available, user-controlled digital tool designed to support compliance with the EPA’s Lead and Copper Rule Improvements (LCRI). Developed by a former EPA official and public health innovator, the tool removes financial and technical barriers for State, Tribal, and local governments across the United States. Available in multiple languages, the LSLRCC provides accurate cost modeling based on local conditions—not generic estimates. It directly supports access to infrastructure funding through the State Revolving Fund (SRF) programs and helps ensure that water system investments align with environmental equity, public health protection, and safe drinking water access for all.

The LSLRCC has earned recognition across the civic tech and environmental health sectors. It is featured by the National Center for Healthy Housing (NCHH) and is highlighted within the EDF- and EPIC-backed Lead Innovation Hub.
