Luminate, a philanthropic organization, has announced that Melanie Hui will take over as the new CEO from the founding CEO Stephen King on January 1, 2025. Melanie has been with Luminate for five years, leading their work in Asia and implementing a global strategy review. The outgoing CEO, Stephen King, is leaving to pursue new opportunities after nearly seven years at the helm, during which he established Luminate and funded and supported more than 500 organizations.
