Civic Tech Field Guide
Sharing knowledge and productively growing the field
To display on a smartphone the route that Bashō traveled in the local area, allowing people to follow it on their own without a guide.
Seven guide groups in northern Miyagi and southern Iwate collaborated to digitally map the route of haiku poet Matsuo Bashō for regional revitalization, enabling self-guided tours without a guide. Regional tourism information for the area is also collected and published.
