This book lists a number of different cases and explains the prospects and development of future platform cooperation ahead of the 2018 Platform Cooperativism Alliance Conference.

Platform cooperation? The answer is neither a single model nor an abstract dogma. There are many collaborative platforms that practice the spirit of sharing. Some of them are far away, and some are close at hand; some have their own apps or even use the latest technologies such as blockchain technology, and some are just peer groups based on Facebook and WhatsApp. The group seems very ordinary. But everything remains the same. Behind the rich and diverse specific events, there is also an important point in common: they refuse to become a platform for capital, and they belong to ordinary people who are willing to give. They respond to current social issues and use social innovation as a means to achieve the long-term goals of collaborative sharing, building community and promoting social progress based on friendly interactions among neighbors.

The 2018 Platform Cooperativism Alliance Conference will be held for the first time in Asia in September this year. This book lists a number of different cases and explains the prospects and development of future platform cooperation.
