All Tech Is Human’s mission is to grow and diversify the entire Responsible Tech community. The University Network serves that mission by extending opportunities for learning and career growth (and a good time!) to affiliated student clubs at colleges and universities across the globe.
The Responsible Tech University Network is an intergenerational effort, making ATIH’s huge community of professionals a resource for student growth. The direction of all our programs is steered by students themselves, through the UNet Board of Directors. (See below) We empower students by bringing them in contact with a diverse cross-section of people in responsible tech, through things like our mentorship program that links students with early career professionals. And we arrange guest speakers on-campus and online to talk to our clubs about their own pathway into responsible tech.
The RTUN also offers a responsible tech internships and externships board, building on ATIH’s wildly successful responsible tech job board. And we use our extensive network across civil society, academia, government and industry to bring opportunities for project-based learning and job shadowing to students in all our clubs. We build learning materials with help from ATIH working groups and other volunteers to bring the expertise of our community to discussion groups in our clubs. And to ensure that our students have their skills recognized, we provide access to certifications and badges from major organizations.
