Why We Exist
Data is changing the way the social sector operates. It is changing how we offer services, evaluate our impact, and create change in the world. Data Analysts for Social Good exists to help provide the training social sector professionals need to navigate this new world.

Our Story
We began as a happy hour in Chicago. It was a place to connect with others who believed data was changing the sector. From there it grew into a lecture series, webinars, a conference. We are now a global community of hundreds of social sector data professionals. In 2016, the Do Good Data conference drew nearly 900 participants from over 25 countries. Our membership includes people from around the globe in philanthropy, fundraising, program evaluation, social enterprises, and government.
