The Standard for Public Code - a model for public organizations to build their own open source solutions to enable successful future reuse by and collaboration with similar public organizations in other places.
The Standard for Public CodeĀ is a set of criteria that supports public organizations in developing and maintaining software and policy together. It is used by public organizations from municipalities to state level agencies. It is an open standard, licensed CC0, so anyone may use it and adapt it for their needs. It was awarded Digital Public Goods status in 2021.
It is maintained by the Foundation for Public Code.
