YoMobi is a digital platform cooperative that empowers youth organisations by providing tools for skill development, learning, and community engagement to tackle youth unemployment and enhance socio-economic inclusion.
The YoMobi project was launched in partnership with UNICEF and PwC to address the significant challenges of youth unemployment and digital exclusion. It was designed as a digital platform to support youth organisations in delivering programmes aimed at equipping young people with essential skills, improving their employability, and fostering community engagement. YoMobi targets not-for-profit organisations, NGOs, and civil society groups that work with young people, providing them with tools to create learning modules, manage engagement, and scale their impact through the platform. With over 15,000 youth users already engaged, YoMobi is contributing towards key global development goals, including quality education (SDG 4), decent work and economic growth (SDG 8), and reducing inequalities (SDG 10). People can help by partnering with the platform, spreading the word to youth organisations, or funding initiatives that leverage YoMobi to provide digital skills and job creation opportunities for youth. By supporting the platform, stakeholders can help scale its impact, reaching even more communities and expanding to other regions.
