Standardized data format for local government COVID-19 data; compiled by engineers, deployed nationwide by MIC
Volunteer engineers developed a data specification to enable the comparison and integration of COVID-19 case data and related statistics across local governments. The specification was later adopted as a national standard and rolled out nationwide by Japan's Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
