An EU legislative transparency platform tracking legislation, MEP roll-call voting records, lobbying meetings, and how EU directives are transposed into national law across the 27 member states.
GovLens tracks EU legislation from proposal to national implementation. It covers legislative dossiers and procedures, MEP roll-call voting records with group cohesion and rebellion analysis, lobbying meetings from the EU Transparency Register, and how directives are transposed into national law across the 27 member states. Every figure links back to its primary source (OEIL, European Parliament open data, the Transparency Register), so claims can be checked rather than taken on trust.
It covers much of the ground VoteWatch Europe did before it shut down in 2022, which left journalists, researchers and civil society without a maintained source for MEP voting analysis.
It is used by journalists, researchers, public affairs professionals and NGOs. Access is permanently free for students, academics, accredited journalists, and non-profit watchdog and accountability organisations, funded by paid subscriptions from corporate and institutional users.
