A housing platform that simplifies, centralizes, and makes it easy for people to search and apply for affordable housing.
In 2015, Exygy partnered with San Francisco Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development, San Francisco Mayor’s Office of Civic Innovation, and Google (via the Civic Bridge program), to create DAHLIA – SF’s first digital affordable housing portal.
Since then, we created Bloom Housing, an open source and more flexible platform based on DAHLIA, to expand access to this solution and make it more cost effective to other jurisdictions. Investment and support for the Bloom Housing project have been provided by the City and County of San Francisco, Alameda County, San Mateo County, the City of San Jose, the City of Detroit, the Silicon Valley Community Foundation, MTC/BAHFA (Bay Area Housing Finance Authority) and Exygy.
In partnership with MTC/BAHFA and Google.org, we are currently building Doorway, a Regional Platform for the 9 Bay Area Counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, Sonoma, Napa.
Bloom Housing is a portfolio of three products to bring efficiencies and serve the needs of home seekers, housing staff and developers, and property managers.
We put co-creation and collaboration with our different user groups at the center of the design and product development process.
We also provide housing policy development, listings management, and facilitation services to help jurisdictions simplify complex policy requirements while validating inputs and ideas from different stakeholders.
