Loop’s feedback platform is revolutionising accountability in humanitarian aid and development by providing a space for accessible feedback, reliable complaints mechanisms and safe reporting of Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment (SEAH).
Loop began operation in the year 2020 in The Philippines and Zambia. Since then, it has expanded its reach to also serve communities in Somalia, Poland, Ukraine and Indonesia. In 2022 Loop received nearly 2,500 individual instances of feedback, constituting the majority of stories to date, with 500 received in the previous, (partial) first year of operation. We also received over 100 Sensitive Reports. Loop will only be sustainable and add value to local people if the feedback is heard and responded to, so the number of people and organisations engaging with feedback on Loop is crucial. People can help by donating to the project, by leaving feedback on the platform, replying to others who have left feedback and by spreading the word bout Loop to organisations in those 6 countries who would benefit from an independent feedback platform and reliable complaints mechanisms.
