The Reporters’ Lab is a center for journalism research in the Sanford School of Public Policy at Duke University. Our core projects focus on fact-checking, but we also do occasional research about trust in the news media and other topics.

A guide to the world's fact-checkers. We maintain a database of fact-checking sites and publish an annual census.
The Duke Tech & Check Cooperative, a two-year research project to automate fact-checking, funded by Knight Foundation, Facebook and Craig Newmark.
Analysis about trends and advances in fact-checking, including articles written by our students, staff and faculty.
The Reporters' Lab is part of the DeWitt Wallace Center for Media & Democracy at the Sanford School.
