It operates as a not-for-profit social enterprise and believe that companies paying tax responsibly should be celebrated, and any race to the bottom resisted. To date, the Fair Tax Mark have focussed on certifying businesses head-quartered in the UK, but a suite of global standards will be rolled out in 2021.
